About a year and a half ago I received an email from someone in New Orleans inquiring about their wedding date. She let me know that she was a fellow photographer (Jacqueline Kay Photography), and we eventually set up a meeting to sign the contract and book the date.
So, it was no surprise that our meeting turned to photography industry chat after we finished the formalities of booking her wedding day. Over the next year and half, we became great friends. It wasn’t too long after our initial meeting that I met Eric, who I’m convinced is the coolest person I’ve ever met.
It’s the kind of story that takes pages and pages to write, but I’m summing it up in just a few sentences to say this : You never know who you will cross paths with, that random connections can become friendships, and for that I’m thankful. So glad to call Jackie and Eric my new friends, and even more happy to call them Mr. and Mrs. Dallimore :)

Also, I have to admit that I probably couldn’t have made it through Jackie’s amazing wedding without the help of some amazing friends. Erin Guedry, a Baton Rouge photographer, assisted me throughout the day. Some of the images you see below were shot by Erin, be sure to check out her work at www.eringuedryphotography.com.
I’m also forever grateful to my friend Kaylynn Clark, another Baton Rouge photographer, who helped me enourmously on Jackie’s wedding day. Please do visit Kaylynn’s website at : www.kaylynnmarie.com
Lucky to have friends like these two. Seriously, they get me out of so many pickles :)

I was lucky enough to work with my friends at Dyle Films on Jackie’s wedding day. I may possibly be their biggest fan. Seriously. Chad, Kelly, and the rest of the crew are responsible for some of the most amazing wedding videography I’ve ever seen, hands down. Check out their work at www.dylefilms.com.
Don’t miss Jackie & Eric’s wedding trailer!
